My music is heavily influenced by the soul recordings of the 70s to the 90s/2000s. I listened to all types of music growing up, with my favorites being the soulful grooves of Motown, Stax, Gamble and Huff (that Philly sound), James Brown – pretty much anything funky. Whatever I make, it is soulful. Got ta have soul.
